UNTOLD STORY BEHIND THE SMILE OF AN AFRICAN CHILD

Behind that smiles lies so many untold suffering, king of poverty they face when going home, miserableness life they are facing. They are so kind and gentle, they never say “No” when taking a photo of them, yet we are selfish and not give them something back neither even the simple word “thank you” nor giving a photo you captured. The are voiceless to ask you something back. They giving us thousands of likes and good comments of our profiles photos we make, as internationals they give us great experiences and memories of an African child. We get rewarded, become famous and successful just because of their photos. We even forgot about them yet we still holding them. Have you realized they give you more than you give them? We claim to have love for an African child while we are only with them when they smile in good time for that moment you taking a photo but not in bad time when they face realities and crying in tears. We are afraid to tell stories of their realities and challenges they are facing. We never capture their tears and sadness to share or tell that story to our fellow people. Is that reality? That love to them is too emotional and Fake. The symbolism of a sweet to them: You only with me in good time of taste but you never there when am facing that real sour taste of their challenges. “If you’ve had the privilege to associate with the African child then you will understand this deeply Leave your comfort zone and take a tour into the world of this cute little epitome of innocence and you will have every reason to celebrate the African child. Look at the street and walls of this child and you can’t help but notice this precious black masterpiece. They play under the rain and smile under the sun. They rejoice in the most obscured situation and circumstance life could throw at them. No electricity, and yet they act like they are the source of light. They rejoice even when the sky is falling. The government does not care about them and yet they act like the government is their father. Go to the street and see how they play, laugh, live and love and you will wonder if they do not have problems. Go observe them and you will learn the greatest life lesson from them. Most of them do not have a pair of shoes but still they trample upon misery and challenges. With bare foot, they walked into great and high positions in the society. Even without clothes, they have managed to survive the craziest weather conditions ever. No clean water to drink? Don’t worry because from them flows the streams of living hope. Without good roads, they are capable of traveling to Mercury and Pluto. Even with their ‘strange’ human language they are able to communicate with the spirits of wise men. Nobody, I mean nobody can tell the untold story behind the smile of an African child except a man who has the pure heart of a moon. They dance on the streets even when nobody is watching. Only the trees and sunshine are their ever cheering and supportive fan. No education? and yet they never forget to greet their elders every morning. In spite of all these, the African child is strong, resilient, hopeful, cheerful, peaceful and happy. What makes her smile in such miserable and adverse circumstances is a mystery we are yet to understand.”-Promise Excel Behind that smiles lies so many untold suffering, heartache, disappointment, rejection, sadness, sickness, hunger, pains, dark gloom and hardship.” Have you acknowledged that or is just only your self. Do we really care about them, Do we really have love for them or its just a temporal love? They are voiceless to ask you. If so what did you give them back? I leave that question to your human mind. “If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children.”- Mohandas Gandhi
